Rumple on a Mission

Rumple Church has a long history in service to Christ in our community. In their every day lives, our members reach out to share their gifts with other organizations. We hope to be a beacon of God’s light and love wherever we go.

Rumple Missions provides opportunities to grow in service and are pleased with Rumple's response...from Blowing Rock C.A.R.E.S. on our campus to Wine to Water’s outreach worldwide. But we know that you have each found a desire to serve in some way. You can be an inspiration to others by sharing your story...your passion!

Contact Misty Mayfield, Elder Liasion, to serve or help.

The February items of need for Blowing Rock C.A.R.E.S. are:
canned pineapple, canned tomatoes, oatmeal (round cardboard container), pancake/waffle mix, syrup, pudding/gelatin mix, and toilet tissue. Please place your food items in the shopping cart in the reception area.

You may bring your items throughout the month and leave them

in the shopping cart in the church lobby.

Thank you to everyone who worked, helped with lunch, made financial contributions, and prayed for Habitat and the Bradshaw family.

Give: Financial support for relief efforts can be designated to DR000169, which supports the church’s response to hurricanes impacting the U.S. You can also send directly in response to the wildfires in California to DR000165. Gifts can be made online, by phone at (800) 872-3283, or by check, which can be mailed to Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), P.O. Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700.

Act: Learn how you and your congregation can help families who have lost everything in the devastation. Stay informed and like us on Facebook, download resources and share updates with your congregation.

Pray: God of our life, whose presence sustains us in every circumstance, in the aftermath of storm and distress, we welcome the restoring power of your love and compassion. We open our hearts in sorrow, gratitude and hope: that those who have been spared nature’s fury as well as those whose lives are changed forever by ravages of wind and water may find solace, sustenance and strength in the days of recovery and reflection that come.
