Rumple has a large and active Presbyterian Women's Group. Currently five Circles, varying in membership and meeting times, exist to provide fellowship, Bible and Charistian-themed book study, and service to the congregation and community. Please contact the church office with your questions or to become a Circle member.

 

 


 

Circle I - meets the second Monday of each month at 6:00pm at the Rumple House. Its mission work is with families and individuals in low income housing in Blowing Rock.

Circle II - meets at 7:00pm.

Circle III - meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10:30am at the Rumple House. Its mission work is with Shelter Rock, an organization that provides food, clothing, etc. to the Appalachian area.PW-Border_Q4G4507

Circle IV - meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 1:30pm. Its mission work is with Oasis, a women's shelter located in Boone, NC.

Circle V - meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 10:00am at the Rumple House. Its mission work is with Rock Haven, a group home in Boone, NC.

Annual events include the Rumple Women's Retreat held in the spring of each year at Montreat Conference Center in Black Mountain, NC, and the Annual Meeting of Presbyterian Women held in late summer. You are invited to become a part of this vibrant group, who seek to grow in faith and serve the Lord in our world.

 

 

 

Honorary Life Membership Award

At the annual Presbyterian Women meeting in August, 2009, Carol Genberg was awarded an Honorary Life Membership in PW. This award is for outstanding service and leadership in PW and the church. Carol has served in many PW capacities, in addition to serving on the Transition Team as Rumple's search for a new pastor began.
